Reading A PLUS!! Reading Adara ‘s story, ” Becoming a Big Sister," teaches parents and children how to become better persons. It also reminds us that our responsibility as parents is to love and care for our children. Children are sacred gifts God has blessed us with, no matter their personalities; love them as they are. Furthermore, the book teaches us as humanity to one another; this book is excellent and well-written for a Christian or non-Christian audience. We are all responsible for educating our children to live harmoniously with their siblings. I give it 100% must read.

I just love this book so much! It’s such a timely story that is needed by our generation. It acknowledges the feelings that older siblings may have in preparation of the arrival of a younger sibling and provides parents with the correct guide and language to address it. I also love that this book acknowledges culture and encourages family bonding. Definitely a must have! 10 stars out of 10stars!
Becoming a big sister
My two little daughters sometimes fight, obviously, over issues that do not matter. I have had teaching moments with them where I explained to the younger one to respect the older, and in turn, teach the older one to learn to give in for her younger sister’s sake knowing that she is still a child… I was never able to make this stick on pretty well until we ran into this book. While this classic piece discussed preparing a kid for the arrival of a new sibling, I was amazed at how it also impacts kids that already have siblings. 100% recommended to all families with kids.
